    Best Pace: 04:43 min/mi.

I wonder if that was going downhill?

That was most likely sliding down Geronimo!! Got some great momentum and technique behind me on that, and providing it's been raining prior to the Full Tour, I'll be doing it again then.

Arse cheeks are still stinging a bit, but well worth it. Seriously, I will blitz everyone on that hill. It puts Swoop's efforts on the Half Tour to shame.

That's the only thing that stopped me: the patches of bracken. By November though, it will have died down and I reckon I can get a continuous run from top to bottom. The trick is to use the outside of your thigh and use your other leg for balance. When the pain gets too much on one side, switch to the other.

SS....this is some real hardcore techinque!
On race day, could you not hide a plastic sledge under some grass and wiz down on that.

Just get the camera ready at the bottom come race day!

I did take a bin liner on the MdS in the hope that I could slide down some huge dunes once I got to the top. Forgot all about it though until I emptied my rucksack out at home.

I think you should copyright this new-found techinque and you can sue the arse out of anyone who tries it.
