you obviously haven't seen how truly steep the scree descent on this race is alomost as steep as the wasdale descent

Great youtube video of Jonnie's fall. I'd heard about it but didn't realise that it was quite so spectacular and he still went on to win.

Enjoyed my first go at this race in very slippery conditions. Fortunately there was a queue at the chimney by the time I got there which made for a slower and safer descent.

Record? Rob managed to equal Bill Teasdale's 7 victories. I don't think he beat Mick Hawkin's record time?

Now you mention it, I don't have a clue what all the BOFRA records are either. Some, like Sedbergh, will be pretty recent as it is a new course, but some ofthe others have been the same for a long time.

I'll make some enquiries.
