I booked the YHA the day before XOTF last year but am thinking about trying the independent backpackers Pudgio used. Any others staying there? Softie? Hann?

The only thing my better half likes about this is that I may be able to it on the cheap. If I go, this'll be where I stop. Just got to get it in writing I can go, then I'll book it!

Not got around to booking it yet, but I'll be staying there.

No idea how busy it will be with other people at that time of year, reckon we'll have enough of us to book a room rather than wake up every single dorm when we stagger back from the Loft?

I seem to remember last year neither DT or I had booked anywhere to stay until a couple of days before. Maybe our fame is spreading word's got out that Keswick is the place to be a few days before Christmas!

We were thinking of getting a short break in a cottage somewhere. Problem is, there aren't many within easy staggering distance of Keswick

I wonder of we could book a whole room/the whole backpackers for the lot of us?
