It's ok to have an opinion though.
Personally i wouldn't want to run for any other country except the one i was born in. But that's my opinion and not the rules.![]()
Of course it is. I think there's a few who chose not to represent other countries but others who do. I find the argument that I'm taking a person's place a bit weak though..we have 12 spaces in the ultra squad and 2 runners selected, both qualify on residency..there's 10 spaces available for people who want to run around a track for 24 hrs or want to run 2-10 k loops for a 100k, just form an orderly queue.. :-)
I just think there's a few kicking up a fuss for a few personal reasons.
TBH though I support England in sport but I've lived 18 years in England and nearly 12 outside of England. I've never lived in England as an adult. I suppose I'm one of the few who very much class themselves as British having only lived in Scotland and Wales (of the home nations) as an adult. I also wouldn't have competed for Scotland, that was never home, here is.
I was born in Nigeria......don't know if they've got a team in it though. Super Eagles.
Another post deleted, for some comment that wasn't meant to offend.
I do love all the sensitive loveys on this forum.
It's no wonder people give it a wide birth.![]()
Tom that's why this countries so f****d up because of the politically correct numpties.
I'm not rascist, i went out with a girl who was from African origin.
I don't like being accused of being rascist in a roundabout way when i'm not.
I get the rip taken out of me every other day on sites for where i live or what i look like, i don't throw my dummy out and cry political correctness.
I just think it's a bit pathetic that's all
