All good, very well organised and friendly event but too much road and fast running... I was praying for a steep hill that I'd have the excuse to walk up. Suffered a bit with dodgy guts but managed to keep bang on 7 hour schedule throughout and got home in 6:56.

I think a lot of people feel the same way about this run - off-roader runners anyway. Not enough grass, not enough mud, not enough hills. Too many stony tracks and too much tarmac. I'll still be having another go next year though. I was aiming to get under 8 hours, & did 7:45. I reckon if I'd have tapered properly beforehand & hadn't had gut problems I could have done 7:30, so I've got a target for next year now. Good run doing 6:56 though!

I had an 8 hour schedule but also got round in 6:56 but I was slowing towards the end. Really well chuffed with that time though. Presume I must have been hobbling in the group around you. (in a blue and yellow top.)

Some impressive times here. Good to see you again Splatcher. I seriously thought I'd have to retire at Rushup Edge, but after a lot of plodding and a few sit-downs to admire the views I managed to get things back under control and shuffle home to a 9:20 finish. Woo-hoo, result! I got my 10th completion.

I must have looked comical by then as my quads seized and refused to operate down hill

You can copy & paste straight into a spreadsheet & it sorts it out into columns - did for me anyway. 3rd Male Supervet - result!

Not sure they have all gone soft i came across a group of about half a dozen `lassies in there early teens somewhere around Mam Tor and the size of the rucksacks they were carrying made me wince
