HI ALL - so........I'm doing the long route & am running it.....It's a 10am start but with bus leaving from CE CC @ 09:15 latest?????????????

Just a tad confused as only entered this one a few days ago & after a long day at work am just trying to work out what time to set off from home (Ripon area quite a way) - have seen various mentions of 8am/10am - runners/walkers long/short....

apols for being a bit thick....just fancy a "lie in" so to speak & don't want to get their ridiculously early if the times in my first paragraph above are true..

Hi again...

ignore my last post - the long route is the "walk" and starts at 8am - the race is the shorter distance and starts at 10am......

so im running the long route - registration open from 7am. start at 8am.....

hopefully the only person confused b4 was me! apols for the confusion rather than enlightenment.

with that - I'll sign off.......now where's that glass of red wine gone!

Enjoyed a steady trot round long route with GrahamB and Madeleine in very dry but incredibly windy conditions. Nice to see IanDP smiling as ever and doing a fine job of keeping innocent runners and walkers away from the bogmonster Good to see jodj and SteveS, who was last spotted flying alomg in fluoro green Ponies vest

Don't know about the calendar entry 15.5miles/1950ft?

I added a bit at the end, about 1/2mile, but I got 16.48miles/2739ft. Anyone else got stats to compare?

That was the windiest race I think I've ever competed in. Managed to find my way round apart from the last few hundred metres. I kept telling myself to get the map out and check but I was too knackered. Loads behind me were hoping that I was going the right way. Probably added a minute or two on. Thanks to all concerned. Back next year? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...............
