I didn't have a sore hip but first couple of miles lower back gyping me then o.k. So the RRR if i understand right has better terrain { and by better i mean less demanding not necessarily more interesting} on the whole except for fields and it has substantially less elevation but best to bring own food favourites. . It was about as dry it gets up there today, most races avoid such boggy ground however. The wind was exceptional; it's a while since I was out in wind so strong. For a fell run, I'd say the course was nicely runnable all the way, nothing steep or particularly difficult underfoot. There are definitely a lot of easier races though.
