Today's Bike Ride

48 miles on road bike, weather and wind better than yesterday, 16mph average speed, 3 big climbs, felt good, no pain from shin, missing me running though, only a week to go and i'll be trying out a trot

20miles or so by Leeds-Liverpool canal this afternoon. Called at Saltaire for lunch - pizza, choc brownies with ice-cream, local beer and espresso. All rather pleasant

Just done my 12 mile, cracking watching the sun go down and a full moon coming up on the way back. A chill in the air but glad to be out

Rehab is not nice merry but worth it in the long run

Wonder if we should organise a get together bike ride in next few weeks? 15 or 20mile 'social' pace, with a cafe or pub stop Calderdale?

I have not been cycling at all since 3 peaks cx... Now focussing on getting running fit for the National Fell Relays, not much time, in two weeks and Everest Marathon, actually, noty much time either, as we leave for Nepal on 14 November

Didn't actually ride either of them, but one of them has been to hospital for a minor operation...
