    I wanna be in front
    I wanna be in front
    Run faster
    Run faster
    C’mon
    C’mon
    Dig in
    Dig in
    Yes!
    Yes!
    Great! I’m at the front
    I’m actually at the front

    “Er, after you mate!
    I don’t know the way!”

    Nah. Me neither.

It'll only need a flash of inspiration mind and you'll get one. I'm still waiting for mine!

    Short and snappy
    Fells and poems?
    What poetic rhymes with fells?

not that poor Harry! Was thinking maybe 'Poetry in Motion'. Plenty of scope for someone here to do much better.
Same fate here as Freckle - race cancelled 'for safety reasons'. Not a note here or on the club website. Thought safety was my responsibility. never mind - nothing poetic about whingeing.

Anyway, the dogs benefited when i got home.

Now that IS good. It is has great rhyming, alliteration, pace, and great imagery.

"Touch the trig" is my favourite bit.

Thanks HHH! I got a bit ambitious there. I was feeling inspired but then went out for a meal and drank half a bottle of red before I finished part.2. Here it is now:

    fallen larch needles
    a golden route for runners
    reprieve from the mud
