    Dont blame me...blame fleeter.

I'd reached that point where if i pushed hard at the finish i'd throw up so i was content with where i was...but then fleeter appeared from nowhere and i had to drop him...and ended up catching you and decided i might as well pop past ya.

Sign of old age that Bill. Not noticing that Al was coming past.
I find a sneaky clip on the heel works

He weakened himself and he still beat me... I must try harder!

Cheers U2 - actually put a bit of effort in yesterday & felt good on the ascending whereas 4 weeks ago I would have been out of breath & gasping for air. Even managed a high tempo when I knew we were on the home stretch.

    Re: Shepherds Skyline

Thanks to everyone for turning up for the 25th Shepherds Skyline race.

83 juniors and 263 seniors - awesome... some great results in the wettest and muddiest conditions we've seen for a year or two.

The junior races had yet another record turn out and were hotly contested. Junior results should be typed up and posted on Tod Harriers website sometime tomorrow.

Glad to say that the two injured runners in the senior race were recovered quickly and safely back to HQ. Thanks to the runners and who stopped to assist them and the marshalls who brought them off safely. Had an email from Kisty Hall to say that it's not a broken collar bone as suspected - just torn ligaments - we wish her, and Andrew Coulthurst speedy recoveries.

The abandoned walshes have been claimed and will be reunited with their owner at the Stoop.

The pub send their apologies for the lack of water in the toilets and the legwash. Their water supply was unfortunately interrupted.

Thanks again for turning out and supporting the race.

    See you all Dunnerdale?

    Thanks to all at Tod.

The Under 8 marshals running at the back were particularly kind and hepful, getting all the little ones round, so Thank You.
