A sobering tale of Borrowdale and 3 Shires.....

Spying a runner ahead
Whippet followed where ever he led
Got lost in the cloud
Now he's never too proud
To get the map out instead.

To have followed a runner so plucky
For very next day
So I've heard say
He ended up in Kentucky

Bugger all decent rhymes with Kendal I can tell you!

There's a town near the Lakes that's Kendal,
To where good fell-runners will tend: all.
The home of Pete Bland's,
Who has all the plans
To equip all those runners so mental.
