It looks like there is a mass Glossopdale recce on Sunday morning as well, so I guess Bleaklow will be awash with runners plotting new secret routes

Rollick Stones is out of bounds as is the shooting range. there is access to Wildboar clough but it is West of the shooting area 072 985 approx a very long way round.

Luv Shack knows a secret route that is only available to bona fide KFR members.

Had a good recce of Bleaklow and Kinder today but be WARNED.
The route onto Bleaklow to the east of the out of bounds shoot is riddled with snares .
I got my foot in one and needed help to release it, fortunately it tightened around my shoe and not my ankle.
If you come across areas of heather with tracks about 500mm wide cut into them be very wary.

Andy if these Snares aren't covered I'm sure they are illegal so get them reported

If the snare encountered is 'self locking' it is illegal and must be reported. On an exposed spot like Lawrence Edge, getting trapped when out alone could prove fatal. This stupidity needs tackling before someone gets hurt.
