I dont believe that we are meant to understand the workings of the universe. We live in a 4D world and as a result could never contemplate and understand this, although there is hope and progression, I feel it is futile.

If the answer to all of the above was phoned through to the most intelligent scientist on Earth, they would not understand. It would be like trying to explain the internet to an ant. We simply can not hold the intelligence to understand.
Nice little series (~2 hrs) to get you started!

That's not true Brightside. When the scientists were asked what a black hole was, not one of them could answer. I think many of the leading physicists are so caught up in manipulating figures(mathematics), that they've lost the link to philosophy.

Black holes as they are currently being described do not exist. I can say that with certainty, because the bizarre explanations given are so contradictory that they go against all philosophical laws.

What's a 4D world Roy? I think humans understand most things, and because of this get bored and start imagining things like black-holes.

I am pretty sure you know already but it is basically the combination of space and time within a coordinate system. It explains why time can be slowed at high speeds. It also explains how we all witness events differently as it is observed from our own unique coordinate.

    and your homework will be...........
