    Re: Cyclists v Harriers

Thanks to everyone at Bingley Harriers for a fantastic event- harder than the statistics suggest I thought.

Some of those cycling lads must be very fit - I was passed quite a few times on the climbs by people with bikes on their backs!!

Well done to Spiderman - you beat me despite the suit and the loss of the saddle. I'll bet your spider senses would have been tingling if you'd sat down on that seatpost!!!...

Based on the previous comments re littering on other threads from forum members it leaves him with a ban from the race and the forum does it not?

That was a question from me not a statement, but seeing as you seem to want to enforce it.........

I was marshalling at the bottom of the slope down to the finish and I take my hats off to you all - it looked scary just standing still, never mind running/cycling down it!

One of the runners left an orange/red jacket with me just before the start and said he'd collect it at the finish, but we appear to have missed each other. If this is you, can you contact Bob Dover (race organiser) to get it back - http://www.bingleyharriers.co.uk/htm...clists/hvc.htm

In any case, there's no point looking at results when you have entered under a different surname!

Both mens and womens records smashed despite very wet conditions. What a pity this wasn't confirmed at the presentation.
