Hehe hopeso, will have a bash at TT next year. Not enough prep done this year to do it.

Has anyone ever got to the finish and ran back home to their car?

not on the same day, we have had runners stay in YH and run back monday.
    BUT............

Andy (Plumbum) set off at midnight from Edale a few years ago(4/5) and ran to start, had a bacon butty and raced back This was part of his BG prep
    respect

Pretty hardcore, I like the dedication!!

The YHA option sounds good, will probably air on the side of doing that if I compete next year.

    Well pissed off tonight.

Lunchtime errand at work resulted in flat tyre.

Sorting it out meant the urgent work I needed to do didn't get done. Which meant I couldn't leave early. Also meant I had a spacesaver wheel on. Which meant the long way home. Sloooowly.

Which meant I wasn't home in time for the Tues night headorch run over Pendle.

To say the least. I'm working from home today, so will see if I can head over there for a solo run tonight. Just waiting for the mobile Kwik Fit guys to come out now and sort my car out.

Precisely how I feel about the internet - and in particular this forum. Especially when I'm working from home.

    Very windy here too

Oh how I wish I could afford to replace my roof! Actually it's probably more cost effective to become unemployed... The council will pay for my new roof then!
