    Yes, you need to get up very early its my club xmas bash the night before so I don't know what state our leg 1 runners will be in !

    Done leg 5 today, wet, muddy, boggy and very slippy. Never done it before only a couple of navigation errors. Enjoyed afternoon, can't wait to do it properly now!!

    Leg 1 for me as well. I thought it would be a case of follow my leader early on but my partner is a leg 1 veteran and he tells me they soon lost sight of everyone else last year.

    Even though the start seems to have moved to North Dean Woods do we still register at Clay House Park?

    The Halifax Harriers website says that registration and the start are at Clay House Park.

    But the info sent out to team captains says the start has been moved to North Dean Woods which according to the Grid Ref is about a mile away

    Map on the website is showing leg 1 starting from Clay House and going through North Dean Woods

    Plenty of folk out doing leg 5 recce today. Muddy,boggy,slippy. At least the rain held off until we finished.
