I panicked before....i thought it was aaaaaaaaaaaaaaages away.

Actually its now 8 and a 'wake up'. Official Afghan going home time measuring system. Never count the current day and never count sleeps when travelling with the military because whatever you do there won't be any sleep but there will always be breakfast - possibly several in any given 24 hrs and always at random intervals. It is enshrined in doctrine, and Queens Regulations that breakfast is essential but sleep is for the weak.
