Amazingly quick results for such a complicated event, especially as it's all achieved without dibbers! Well done to all at Halifax Harriers.

Didn't see many forumites on leg 2, but thanks to Flightless Bird for his shoe advice which was spot on (even though he tried to stampede me into a late change!)
I think Millipede said hullo as I was dashing to register. I'm sorry I only realised too late to reply.

As for the run, I thought I was struggling but somehow managed to finish nearly 8 minutes faster than last year, despite being less fit. It's something of a puzzle, though not failing to locate Stoodley Pike helped save a couple of minutes compared with last year's foggy outing.

Can I just ask the Rossy lot to pass on my congratulations to my mate Gerard Navan today for the run of his life

Even if it is an error in the results, to be showing as fastest leg agead of RR and Carl Hardman is worthy of credit.

    Tough luck Andi

Another cracking day in Yorkshire was had by the whole of salford, A team, B team and supportors.

Many many thanks to Halifax Harriers, Linda Crabtree for notifying me that my team wasn't entered and the race was filing up fast and all the marshalls and supporters on the route.

Its an amazing event and results on line the same night is cool. If UKA were involved they wouldn't be on the net till at least Wednesday!!!!

We had focused this to try and win the event again and we all have next years date penciled in our diary!

This event is great due to the sheer numbers involved and the friendly atmosphere it creates.

I am studying the results closely to see who ran quicker than my mate and I on leg 4 as it says second fastest next to our names.

See you all next year. (Or even some of you at The Stoop next Sunday!)

Where can we find a list of fastest times ever o each leg?
The results only go back to 2002 and we are faster than any of those listed. Even quicker than our John and Billy who in 2003 ran 1.01.38.

There's a list of pre-2002 records in the 2002 report, which gives the fastest time for leg 4 as

    Leg 4 Bingley I Holmes/M Kinch 0.57.51 1996

I don't know if there's been any route change since then though.
