    Re: Xmas on the fells

Bright and dry and sunny in South wales, ideal driving conditions, but I am stuck at home

I have decided, if I feel good enough tomorrow, that I am going to get myself a treat... My old latop is on it's way out, so I am going to get a nice new samsung Netbook I need a treat, right?

[QUOTE=merrylegs;286664]Had to abandon the caravan journey, got as far as Keighley to pick it up and made the decision with the Mrs, forecast for sunday is bad too so common sense says leave the bloody thing in storage
Going to set off early tomorrow and make the run, hopefully, but no curry, best of luck to everyone else getting up there[/QUOTE

Just a thought Merrylegs......probably a good chance you can get a bed at the hostel?

    Re: Xmas on the fells

Anyone who needs a bed tonight and/or tomorrow night, mine in the hostel is going spare and I haven't cancelled it... ooops...

Ken, I am looking at a Samsung one as well. Someone on our trek had one and it is well natty and indeed, it has 6-8 hours batterylife!

Will have a look at the pirce at Curry's, so far, PC world has them the cheapest...

Ok, Curry's has the same price as PC world: £259, with a £20 cashback offer after you bought the thing, from Samsung... Seems cheap enough to me for what it is, think I am going to get one tomorrow
