Aye, magic like, i like this bit

“Whenever I’ve trained it’s never become a bore, I’ve always got up in the morning and said ‘Thank the Lord I’m here, what am I going to do today’? If I’m going to run 30 miles I run 30 miles and just enjoy it. When I come back home I am thankful I have been able to do it.

“That’s the way to look at life, get up in the morning and work from there.”

Quality read Merry. Love his reason for not approaching track events more seriously, and therefore potentially foresaking Olympic glory: what about the lambing?

Glad you and the rest of the Merry clan got back safe.
