That was quality. Cheers all Woodentops helpers. Had a decent run out, slow but that's my usual speed. Weather in Haworth, now much worse, roads pretty lousy and good covering of snow!! Glad I walked this morning though to get there.....

    Re: Stoop

That was a character building day, many thx to all, a fantastic race as usual.
MTBd over the Old Road from Hebden Bridge, and the views were fantastic, and also to hardly see anyone and have my bike the first in the snow.....does it get much better?
The race, well once again Spiderman had visibility opportunities and thus couldn't really do much on the way back, passed I think by loads..grrrrrr. Lots of shouts for Spiderman, thx.
The end - a photoshoot with the (unofficial?) winner of the sexiest bum, the privileges of having 'special powers' eh!?
The MTB back, well walked most of the way to the Top O Stairs as was sheet ice. Eventually got going although the 1-2 inches of snow had by this chance increased to about 3-6 inches (I like numbers). Found this tough cycling in deep snow, and hit a hidden rock and learned to fly....it was really funny tho falling head first into the snow, soft, beautful landing and I couldn't stop laughing. No-one else about, could have been interesting. No bike tracks, mine the only one in the snow, bit of a blizzard going back. Interesting to see cars sliding up (and down) Heptonstall Road on the way home. Great day.
    Thx again.

Given that this is the video guy in action it will be interesting to see how the camera coped with the conditions!

I didn't even see Andy - I think he might have been completely covered in snow by the time I got there.
