Just taken it - 60! That good....or bad?
60 good .
Last year I had a medical (job requirement) and was so relaxed on the couch my RHR was down to 45 . The ECG machine print off said I was abnormal . Dr said , not uncommon in people that do a fair amount of exercise . I think ? anything bellow 75 OK , but it's related to blood pessure , age .......
Used to be 75ish when I was younger and not excersising! Will check when I'm PROPERLY resting and not sat in the office on the phone to customers - can guarante to get the pulse up a bit....
First thing in the morning it's normally 38ish. It's 42 now at my desk at work.
My max is also quite low. I can't get it above about 175.
Your only true resting heart rate is just after waking in the morning, averaged over a week. 34 for me.
Mildly interesting: if it is elevated by between 5 and 10 (not that anyone in their right mind is going to measure it every morning) it can be a pre-curser to an illness, or a sign of overtraining.
.
Visited the NHS walk in centre last week for that problem with my sinus and the nice nurse took my rate at 38 but ive been putting some hard training in.
Dont think it will ever go below that
43 when checked in hospital before op.
Checked on 4 different machines.
