Thread: Borrowdale Fell Race

    Re: Borrowdale 07

Swoop, Moo, Ed, an anyone else!!

Are you free for a recce/trip/picnic (!) on

    Saturday 16th June

I've checked the fixtures list - Clougha Pike is on that day and Buckden - not sure if anyones down to do these
(Ennerdale is the week before and Duddon the week before that )

I'm afraid it's a case of 'booking early to avoid dissapointment' for me

names down please - see if we can beat the anni waltz recce of 8 forumites

I was intending to do Great Hill that day and Kinder Trog the day after.
A weekday would be better for me.

Oh no!! That's a plan gone! It's going to be difficult to arrange a convenient day for everyone but we are more likely to get a few of us if it's a weekend are we not

Weekdays are difficult for me because of the school runs etc - couldn't leave here until gone 9 and have to be home by 3!! I know i'm trying to get faster but really don't think I'll get round Borrowdale in a couple of hours!!

If it is a Saturday June 9th or 23rd would be better for me.

    Re: Borrowdale 07

I'd definitely be up for a recce......but 9th is Ennerdale which I'm thinking of doing. 23rd....ermmmm, there's something, can't remember what. Emm's suggestion of 16th would, I think, work for me.

Not very good at this planning far ahead thing!
