A good idea what small changes in altitude does to rain.
Friends house 6 miles away @ 65m = not a flake
Main town 3 miles away @ 120m = 2inch
My house @ 215m = 4 inch
Old racecourse 2 miles away @ 330m = 8 inch
Curtains open till bed time, living on a road side we still have the use of our senses. (eyes and ears help to stop us getting knocked down)Rain here.
