    White Holme Circular CANCELLED

I found this in a previous thread, can anyone give a more detailed description?

"Summit Inn up to the White House (like the Summit race). Clockwise route rond Warland Drain and White Holme Drain then descend by same route you came up."

Are there any checkpoints, or is it flagged?

    Many thanks?

    From last year's results/Stringman's Report at http://www.fellrunner.org.uk/results...hiteholme.html

The first (and last) 2 mile section is flagged, then, as I told the assembled throng on the start line by the side of the pub, “…Then you are on your own – no flags, no marshals, no mile markers, checkpoints, drink stations, mountain rescue…. nothing. It is a fell race…” to which we heard a hearty cheer!

    That is correct.

    'bloomin windy' is an understatement!

I did this couple of years ago. One climb then about ten miles of flat out running before dropping back down the climb. A right good blow out after holiday season

You can see everyone vertually all the way round so navigation isnt a major problem. - watch the leaders just vanish though
    Follow the leader easy peasy.
