You must have the knack of spotting forumites. I didn't spot anyone - sorry! I'll wear a red carnation next time.

A great day though. Sunburnt shoulders, cramping legs up Cat Bells. I did a double take as Angela Mudge crossed the finish line. What a great performance knocking 4 minutes off the ladies record.

I must recce the line across Maiden Moor properly - I was all over the shop. Must have lost some time there. Loved all the descents though. Did anyone else go round the right hand side of the tarn? I was lucky to find a grassy line all the way there. Thanks to all the organisers and marshalls. I was roasting out there and they were wearing all their woolies on the tops.

Wonderful to hear the cowbell too.

2.45.01! Not bad comsidering i'd allowed myself 3.30 to finish! Even got a war wound to show I'm a 'proper' fell runner - in fact typing is even difficult

    I saw/met/chatted to
    Fellrunner , Hopey
    Geoff B, Sarah
    Sunnyside Up, WhiteAbbo
    Milli, Chris K
    Daz H,
    Mud
    Dominion
    Daleside
    Always Injured
    NOYH
    Mr1470
    The Juicer
    Slowcoach
    Huwski
    Pudgy
    Stick
    Scoffer (briefly!)
    Hillybear
and others!! (apologies if missed anyone) No wonder I'm out of breath all the time!

Fantastic day - really lovely day, excellent food, cakes, tea!!

But I have a confession I'm REALLY REALLY SORRY, I dropped an SCS sports bottle between Highspy and Catbells - there wasn't that much left and I only realsied when I got to catbells needing a drink!!
I'M NOT A LITTER LOUT - honest -(despite what Milli said ) I have all my empty wrappers in my bum bag and everything

Great day, Thanks Steve & Wynne! Big Thanks, to the marshalls, it must be really frustrating have to wait for us last few runners

Didn't know who the majority of formites were . Introduced to Mud, GeoffB, and saw a few others that i've met previously

Nice to catch up with Jamie and Catherine last night, not sure what happened to the statement of only having 2 pints of guiness Jamie
