10k on mainly road sections as the pavements were too hard going in the snow (hopping onto the pavement when a car appeared ). Fortunately there was little traffic as the snow was drifting on the road higher up round the Owd Betts pub. The back leg was brilliant with some big drifts on an exposed section of Ashworth Road and I felt knackered by the time I had got through them.
45 minutes on a disused railway line, 3 – 4 inches of new snow on top of the packed ice from last week, very pleasant
14m/2618ft bloody hard going, but great going downhill, big thumbs up to New Balance mt840 trail shoes, grip like ell in the snow.
Took me about 30 mins longer than normal and feel suitably knackered now

Short but sweet trot (run/walk) out in the snow tonight. First run in absolutely ages but the knackered knee and ankle held out perfectly.
The dog enjoyed it too - it's nice to have a running partner.
