Get to Tod - then head for Burnley and you'll be fine.

You turn right 6 miles along on to Red Lees Road.

Check out Map 1 on http://www.penninebridlewayrelay.co....escription.htm

you will see the right fork just after you cross the Leg 1 race route.

Reports today on leg 3 being do-able with care. Leg 4 being difficult and from me parts of leg 5 impossible.
I have posted a note on the event website to advise clubs/individuals that we will make a decision on whether the event will be on or off on the Wednesday before the event i.e. the 27th January. The safety of the competitors will be our only consideration.
With the promise of warmer weather ahead and still 3 full weeks to go we are hoping for the best.
Several years ago we called off the Rossendale Way Relay on the Thursday before the event due to deep snow but come the Sunday it had all gone.

If the relay is called off will it be a complete cancelation or do you have an alternative date in mind?

It will be a complete cancellation as it will be difficult with an event of this nature to postpone it until a later date......I am still hoping for the best however. We still have time for the route to improve although time is getting short.
