The snow ploughs came past 2 hours ago widening the driveable road and reblocking every ones drive with ploughed snowbut I won't complain as they are doing a damn fine job round here. Local council say we still have at least 2 weeks worth of grit at max capacity
although I was surprised to see 2 gritters an hour ago as although it's cold the drivable bit of the roads are clear. buuuutttttttt..........
they obviously knew more than mebecause it's snowing hard... again...
We've not had any real snowfall for three days but apparently its snowing in Harrogate. Maybe its heading this way?!
We had another snowfall last night and again this afternoon. Sick of it now.
FOUR of my neighbours helped to dig and push my car out today! It was a funny scene for me sat there like lady muck while they busted a gut.....it was like having servants.....'tally ho' I shouted! (in my poshest poshest voice)
The roles were reversed later though when I helped push another neighbour out!
Just cleared the car and been out in it for the 1st time in 3 days. IMO driving conditions are worse.
Mother Nature's also currently having a damn fine attempt to drop a few more inches over here. Coming down thick and fast.

Cheer up everyone. Nights are just starting to draw out a bit and the snow will be gone soon and we'll all be barbequeing!
