    Had a TV binge over weekend Excellent documentry on Saturday evening about Obama's US election campaign plus Coast and QI. Watched Ski Sunday and darts last night but it's still going at end of January

    No, license runs out end of Jan and that's it More training, more camping / bivvying and more birdwatching this year

    tv. fantastic value for money. far cheaper than what a lot of forumites spend on alcohol. gave that up and don't miss it

    Hurray!!! Great decision DT. I don't have a tv and I think I may have been the forumite you were thinking of as I mentioned it on here before. I am also a big fan of wild swimming & camping etc not to mention courgette growing My reason for not having a tv is working from home and getting distracted and the rubbish that is on it. Then I travelled for one and half years and didn't miss it at all. It has been six years now. You can always catch the good stuff on Iplayer and join Lovefilm.
