I can highly recommend the final album by Mark Hollis (the guy behind Talk Talk) if you like your music a little odd but very beautiful.
It was recorded to satisfy a contract with polydor records and is a much more personal and introspective collect of songs than his other work. I got a copy on play.com for about £3.50.
For those who are into 70s folk Avocet by Bert Jansch is really intresting (maybe a little dated) and is said to be the artiests favorite of his own work.
I could bang on about records for days

My top LP 2000 - 2009 is Ys by Joanna Newsom. Classic!!

Blinking Lights is a fantastic CD. I'm just listening to the new one, "End Times", at work at the moment. Sounding like a classic already !
