This link should help you TT. The kit checks are stringent (I'm in charge of the changeover ) so make sure you and your partner have everything required. Also, the location of the changeover is exposed to the prevailing wind with no shelter, so you will need to be able to keep warm while you wait.

Reports from club members last Sunday on a leg 4 recce is that it took them 2 hrs ploughing through deep snow. Lots of rain today and higher temperatures and more rain forecasted for the next few days should see a great improvement in the conditions underfoot. With just over 2 weeks to go only 2 weekends left for a leg recce. Take care out there still lots of icy patches.

great - I'll get us there - I've been there lots of times and I'll take my car up to meet you somewhere convenient - like ring road (I'm chapel allerton)

I usually go m62 then in to calder valley on a particular road - i think through elland - but i'll check it out and be in touch via pm

    cheers ;-)

Not sure for definite about the recce because its a fair drive down for us. If i do come down it will be next Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Are any of those days OK for you. Can you get to Summit because we will be coming from the North.

It could be just me, me amd my partner or we might also have someone from our mixed team with us. I will get in touch if we are coming down.

Has anyone recce'd Leg 2 yet? Looks like next weekend will be my only opportunity & I'm guessing after this weekend it'll be clear, there doesn't seem to be much about at all now.

After all this bad weather it may well be like raceday next weekend, evryone doing it last minute!

There is a chance of more snow in the area at the end of this week so that could mean we are back to square one with the conditions for any recce's and the race
