20m/3513ft over to Stoodley Pike then down to the valley floor at Halifax Road and back up to Pike, Haworth Hobble route. Bloody slow going in places due to knee-deep drifts still knocking about. London Road below the Pike was like an ice rink!
Tomato soup with a couple of slices of dry bread went down a treat as did the bag of Monster Munch, original roast beef flavour

For gods sake don't eat the brown biscuits they bung you up for week and as for the Coffee it tastes more like bromide!!!!

We used to get cases of the stuff left by the squaddies when they did there water training at our centre.

Todays run was... a run at last, felt a bit better today, legs still lifeless but there was a bit of a spark there, I'm still finding the hills hard going but at least i didn't have to stop to be sick.

    about 8 hilly miles

The Pate was a bit dry and the Orange powder was like dringing orange on steroids. the Puddings were totally inedible though even my daughter thinks there's too much sugar in them!!!!!!!!!
The matches are awesome though, always have a couple of packs with me when I go camping.

A snowy seven up to Chew & then along to Dish stone brow to see the snow cornices. 1463 of ups. Brilliant conditions up top with consolidated snow. Some of the cornices have been collapsing with quite a volume of snow falling down. Used snow chains that posties use, (http://www.snowchainwarehouse.co.uk/...rices_253.html) seventeen quid & did the job well.
