Of course i'm more than happy with the win but I was upset that Tevez was brought off because United were there for the taking.
I think we were over cautious toward the end which wasn't necessary as United are not a good side. Rooney is out of this world and Giggs had a good game for them but they are not the side they were and i genuinely believe we should have gone for them. Instead it was backs against the wall with United having the best of the last 15 mins.
As they say though, a win is a win is a win.

To the Regiment - I Wish I Was There
What's done is done, but can you honestly say that either the penalty or corner should have been awarded?
Roll on the 2nd leg. Nothing to fear if City perform like that again
Bring on the next leg.
City to go through I think.
I'm going for 2-1 to City again at Old Salford.
So overall agg (4-2) City.
By the glory supporters. Others of us remember that winning a title each season isn't the norm. Rough with the smooth. If this is a rough time, 2nd in the league, still in the cup, still in the CL latter stages, then I think people need a bit of perspective.
But no I was replying to Danbert saying we aren't a threat. Yet we've beaten enough teams this year to show we aren't suddenly a poor team.
Don't support either side but it's interesting viewing. I'm intrigued by the effect that owners seem to have on a club demeanour. Managers and players seem to go from hero to zero overnight apart from a golden few. Fergie has to be the greatest example of a steely ability to ride background storms but its no surprise, given recent global turmoil, that even he seems to be wobbling a bit. For my money, the guys who seem best equipped to follow in his footsteps are Moyes and O'Neill. And Ars8hole Whinger has hung on pretty well. I can only see a pit of despair for Rafa.
