A very cold run out with a mate last night from Holme village. Towards Isle o' Skye road then up to Black Hill. Lots of snow drifts and black ice, most of the PW up there is still covered. 1h 40mins.

A fading headtorch battery and strong icy wind didn't help matters... Made the pint in the pub afterwards all the more tasty!

Fairly hilly road run last night, trying out some new shoes - NB 757s

about 5 miles, 3 decent sized climbs, probably about 900' all in. Shoes seem good - first pair of road shoes I've ever owned, but I've got less leg ache than I'd have running in my old knackered XC shoes I usually use.
