    S-T-I-L-L,
    to grab those
    small seconds of eternity.
    When,
    our mutual gaze
    becomes the warp and weft
    of some ancient forgotten fabric
    and I hear once again
    the skin of your drum
    reverberating in my ear
as if it were my very own life
    that I could hear,
    enlivened and beating strongly
    and dissolving
    into a fragment of forever.

    Twice Baked Potato

    Hes the baked potato connoisseur,
    Likes to eat 'em regular,
She left in too long the maris piper,
Now it tastes like windscreen wiper.

Just as things are getting going, I'm off to bed. Worked too hard, ran too hard today. I'm sure I wont find sleep too hard very shortly.

    night all

Anyway, I am going to do a quick half hour with a headtorch and see y'all later.
You should have taken the hare for a run to warm it up.

    Edale.

Night lays it's velvet cloak at my door,
All is quiet not a sound except my beating heart,
Looking around drifts of snow scattered cross the moor,
It's such a joy to be up here i suppose i better start.

My headlight flashes beams bouncing of the snow,
The crackle of broken ice and the squelch of mud,
No one here but me floating across the peaks i go,
This is so special if only life was always this good.

The stars shine down observing my perfect run,
I reach 10 miles this is effortless, incredible,
Could carry on forever with my athletic meditation,
I'm reaching the end this memory will be indelible.

Good stuff Matt. I love Edale and had a couple of great days down there last year. Every year since I came up to Yorkshire I've said I'll go there more often and I never do. Glad you're having fun

That's great Matt, really evocative. Sounds like you had a really good run too.
