    I really like this Neil!
I've just spent the last half hour trying to get a poem out that has been hovering in my mind from my last long runs but I have two lines so far.

    Shelley's Cat

    I, run by.
    Shelley's cat,
    sits at the window,
    looks out,
    at the view,
    untroubled by concepts;
    unhindered by meaning.
    It sees.

    I, run by.
    Shelley's cat,
    sits at the window,
    looks out,
    at the view...

Ummm...not sure this'll make any sense to anyone at all, but hey ho

    The Soul inside my Soul

You are the soul inside my soul,
The missing part that makes me whole,
You are the joy within my heart,
You always know when & how to start,
You are the sparkles in my eyes,
In you is where all my hope lies,
The day we met, I knew it was you,
Who will make all my dreams come true,
I was captivated by your angelic charm,
You passed by my side & I felt warm,
I realized that you're the one and only,
You found your way to me miraculously,
Shackled, you can't escape or run away,
In my heart is where forever you'll stay..!

Like it, not sure I understand it but I still like it. Did the cat belong to the poet P B Shelley?

Blimey. I'd not realised there was any snow due today. It wasn't even too cold over here today. Hope you got the sledge out.

    Dust of Snow

    The way a crow
    Shook down on me
    The dust of snow
    From a hemlock tree
    Has given my heart
    A change of mood
    And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.

I hope that everyone are saving their best for valentine's in a couple of weeks. Or would the FPS consider that now too commercial?

You were lucky. It has been bitterly cold here, but no snow. Lovely sunshine.

Some of us may be pretending Valentines day isn't happening HHH, but would not want to spoil it for the rest. I think I have a race that day so I will be posting poems about mud and sweat.

Sunny here today too. Funny running out today, very little wildlife about. I'm meaning birds really. I guess they have headed back out of town again since the snow has gone.
