I did like OW's suggestion of the syllables of the haiku:
    -----

but it may be a bit too obscure, maybe I could do a few sketches (and anyone else who fancies having a go).
i really like the idea of foot prints made up of the words of a poem.....think we could think more about which one, possibly a fell poet one...i really liked mossdogs prayer one...just a thought....

On Looking Up by Chance at the Constellations
    Robert Frost

You'll wait a long, long time for anything much
To happen in heaven beyond the floats of cloud
And the Northern Lights that run like tingling nerves.
The sun and moon get crossed, but they never touch,
Nor strike out fire from each other nor crash out loud.
The planets seem to interfere in their curves —
But nothing ever happens, no harm is done.
We may as well go patiently on with our life,
And look elsewhere than to stars and moon and sun
For the shocks and changes we need to keep us sane.
It is true the longest drout will end in rain,
The longest peace in China will end in strife.
Still it wouldn't reward the watcher to stay awake
In hopes of seeing the calm of heaven break
On his particular time and personal sight.
That calm seems certainly safe to last to-night.

Morning Hes, lovely image. I've got a row of daffodils at work, and they must be sheltered more at one end than the other as they grow each year on a slant, with one end shooting through weeks before the other. They've just started appearing again.

Hello HHH, nice to see you. I think you might have the start of a poem there. Sounds lovely.

    Hello again
I have not been on for a while, well not until last night for one quick post.
My broad band was down from the last post I made about the Simon Armitage poem called Poodles until about a fortnight ago and its taken me a while to motivate myself to do anything. So hello all fell poets.
