Think we had the best running conditions on leg 3hree...fair few crashes on leg one and watching the leg fivers finish, some casualty's needing treatment.Sorry to hear of someone breaking a leg/ankle.

Great day out today, hope all those with scrapes, brakes, sprains and cuts soon recover. My partner took a tumble on the ice at the start of leg 5 just before we turn right before the tunnel. MrsT took a tumble on Leg 1 on the way upto Deerplay nasty gash on the Knee. In the true spirit of fell running kept going. Needed stiches at Accy Vic in the afternoon

Thanks to the organisers & marshalls for another great race.

Sorry to see so many scrapes and scratches as well as a couple of more serious injuries.......some of those icy patches were pretty lethal catching out even the most experienced. Hope everone enjoyed their run though, it turned out to be a cracking day and a good race up front. 1 new leg record on leg 1. A few complaints about shortcutting which I am sure were innocent errors rather than blatent cheating possibly down to the fact that fewer people were able to recce their leg due the conditions on the route prior to the race. Big thanks to everyone that helped, 5 fell races in one day takes some sorting. Results are up on the website although they are subject to scrutiny and may be updated later.
I have a couple of ideas learned from today to make improvements for next year, if anyone has any constructive comments please let us know.

We had a team in front of us who cut short despite the formal route being clearly written on the instructions, they seemed pretty clear where they were going. Neither did they fasten any gates behind them despite us being a couple of minutes behind. It was reported - its a shame if no action was taken as it was fairly blatant.

    Some great pix.
You even caught me using my husky method to climb that last hill. Seriously, it was the only way I could keep up with my partner eh.
