    Yes there's no entry on the day but you can swap places with someone else. Pity we haven't got another 100 places as I think they would have been snapped up.

    Do the Half Troggers set off at the same time as the Full Troggers?

    Just for pacing reasons really, because the Halfers will be on a faster pace one would expect, and could do with not getting carried away on the first bit

    No, they set off about five or ten minutes beforehand and go a different way at the start. The full Trog heads downhill and does an extra half mile or so before joining the same route as the half, so you can be most of the way towards Cock Hill before you begin catching them.
