It will give me something to look forward to having just written my car off last night by skidding on ice into a very solid stone bridge. A few hours in A&E and I've been given the all clear, just feel like I've been run over by a steam roller.
Aha! you were conspicuous by your absence last night - and this is the excuse!
Hope you're OK - thank heavens it wasn't on your bike.

Imagine you are an eagle soaring
High above the moors and mountains
Through the valleys over the ridges swooping
Rugged hills and wind grazed wilderness your playthings
All yours and yours alone in flying
Captured within the breadth of your wings

Oh hang on what’s that small dot down there
Clambering up the sheer rocky stubble of a hill

    It’s that prat Stolly!

I used to love those shows but I thought it was called Pettycoat Junction ?

Oh! am I missing the point here ?

Thanks OW, I was thinking that it would have been better on the bike as I could have bailed out but I don't think it works like that does it? and as my friend pointed out...if I hadn't managed to come off, it would have been my somewhat softer body colliding with the stone so I think you are definitely right!
