    the gentle snowflakes
    that settled on my lashes
    are lethal en masse

    bruised aching body
    suffering from whiplash?
    or circuit training?

Well...you have to turn all events into poetical opportunities.

Hes, your very large hare was waiting on my doorstep when I arrived home.

He is magnificent, many thanks! Now I will have to get him framed and hung.

Best wishes in your recover and hope you don't have any hare-line fractures.

I may be hare-brained but I am not sure that I am a dark horse - a receding hare-line makes me look too bright.

fell poets should be allowed to wear different running attire for lakeland races (as is is home to many great poets may I suggest:

teflon coated tweed and breeks this will will suffice as full waterproof body cover

    tweed cap, dachstein mitts

country brogues resoled with a fellrunning style sole

leather satchel for various notebooks, pens,

Oh bloody hell Hes, I hope you are ok. Don't worry about the car, as long as you are alright is all that matters.

    Take it easy

You'll be fine. Just keep on getting those miles in before the day and you'll do great.
