    Re: Wadsworth Trog

I suppose it depends on how long the line of flags is, I think I would feel a little despondant having run a couple of miles the wrong way, particularly up hill. Mind you I would have to have been seriously off course to pick up the flag trail miles of course. Look on the bright side.. you got extra time out on the fells and you're still running. I was lucky, I latched on to Dave Tait half way round who seemed to know what he was doing and managed to stick with him til' the end. Nearly as much fun in the mist as the fell relays.

Big thanks to Linda and all of her team at Calder Valley for the great race organisation

Special mention for Manhar by the way who started off the day organising parking, then swept the half trog and finished off manning one of the last road crossings on the Full Trog as well !!
Thanks again for the tips Alf - and the concern! Got back ok but missed your most important tip of all -peel right at the little wooden post up to the shaft - i ended up going all the way round and hitting cp 13 from the southside adding another tiring mile - absolute baffoon!

Despite that it was a great race- one that i'll definately do again. Thanks Mrs.S for doing a great job and also all the marshalls, freezing their bits off and still having time for a laugh.

    Can't wait for Edale Skyline!
