Cheers OW, I like to think I can be relied on to add a touch of class to the food porn element of our poetry thread. I seem to find it frighteningly easy.

    Azure orbs, your eyes are
    furnished with objects of mine
    some forgotten, some a suprise
    safely held, fed and warmed
in the rooms of your eyes.

    My eyes, tired and aching
    dance in your lightness
    and softly ask ...
    "can I cherish you"
in the rooms of my eyes

    And sitting quietly,
    Filled with hope and excitement
    about the future, the shape
    of (our) home
in the rooms of our eyes.
Freckle, this is beautiful and I feel ashamed that I have been tainting the same page as this with my recent posts!

    Re: Today's poet

I heard this read beautifully, full of mystery, on radio 4 this evening

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006qp7q

She walked the rhythm or a heartbeat
    Talked like a rustling wind
    Touch like cool spring water
distant as the land of dreams

And no-one knows how she does
As she waits and waits as she does
    Watching the sky for rain
Heart strong like a quiet scream

And no-one knows how night grows
Into morning out of a creeping dusk
And wake yer in a cruel moment too naked
For an eye to throw a blind on pain for calm

Fish Finger Porn or Worrying thoughts about David Dickinson !!!!

    Your long crispy goodness,
    Enters my mouth,
My teeth pierce your orange coat,
    The soft white flesh,
    Explodes in my tongue,
    My juices flowing,
    I swallow,
    Ecstasy.

Oh no! That is just a bit too disturbing but very funny!
