    Yes . Could get the whole thing done in about 30 mins . Not sure it would count though

    It might be tricky landing at the road junctions as well.

    Tried to work out a comparison for you on my copy of Anquet.
    Route via Allerdale Ramble path from start of footbridge, NW next to river, up onto A66, over river on road bridge to end of path from footbridge is 0.51Km longer than directly over footbridge. 3/4 minutes extra at most? Shouldn't be critical overall.
    It will be fine - good luck.
    P.S. Recommend stationing someone with supplies at top of Rossett Gill and Black Sail Pass; it breaks up two long legs for everyone.
