    Dont know if you noticed, but a new highland spring 2 day MM has a ppeared in the calendar this year


    Heres a challenge Wynn!

    I have always thought leg 1 of the BG would make a great race:

    except when you get to the top of Blencathra, ignore halls fell ridge and do a long descending traverse rejoining the main blencathra W descent path at the road, through the centre, cross the bridge below and back into fitz park using the big track that skirts S of lattrigg. A great run in! I do that several times a year because I love the route.

    Any one else think that would make a good race?

    The other option is for a race on the Sunday after the Waltz - we thought Ups and Downs would be in keeping with a wedding theme - short and sweet
