same for me. Set off at 8.30 this morning on a long trip round a bit of the HPM Bitingly cold at one point with a hard frost making the ground uncomfortable to run on unless you got on the marble hard snow then it was like road running.

Fairhomes up to Lost Lad then followed watershed route to Wainstones where I cut down to the swamp and back via Alport and the Defiant wreck(first time I've been there) by Rowlee pasture.

Feeling it by the end but it could be the intense cold/carrying a heavier load/tired Legs from Mondays race/all of the above or the fact i've not done much long stuff recently.

    22.2 miles 2,100ft

I'll post some pictures on the HPM thread later

Wednesday night headtorcher with the club. Bit of snow in the air and some on the ground, chips and gravy and excellent Landlord made for a slendid night. Who cares how far we ran; it's of little consequence!

12million feet in 6miles sound hellish steep

    I'd have guessed 6ml and 800ft tbh

Tonight i did my first orienteering event.

It was on the streets on Lancaster and it was a very good experience.
I was on the 75 minute course, it went ok.....i was almost last but hey ho i had a good interval session.
580 points (winner was well over 1000+) 7.62 miles with 557ft of climbing.

Even Mr Wheezing Donkey was there!

First time ive run 3 days on the trot....ever!!!
