    Re: Today's Training

Been doing short runs this week - turned ankle on Sunday and it's been a tad unstable...

Managed 1.5 miles tuesday, 2 yesterday and 2.5 today. Not a lot of hill, about 250' per run, but nice to get out in the frost and dusting of snow today. Felt like summer underfoot, but without the sweating!

    16.6 miles 2,100ft

HPM route from Cut Throat Bridge to Snake summit.

more snow than on Wednesday with the ground still frozen hard. Ran with Mick from team "Nuns from Chinley" he was told to push me a bit! went round in 3.20 which was pretty good as we looking at different lines.

Passed team " 3 Ramblers and a farmers wife" ( I'll be in trouble for that) near Cutgate on their own recce.

Going out again later in the week with Youngfeller.

On Red Screes from Kirkstone Inn looking at route for JNC.
A total white out at top, lots of snow n ice visibility down to 10 metres or less with snow n wind blowing into eyes.
By the time I got back to car the sun was shining n looked like the mist had cleared off the tops.
