    hahaha
Rhys is starting a job in the Lakes in about two weeks, so he'll be up there for at least a couple of months
Anyone forumites on Bleaklow today? Was following a pair of Mudclaws and Walshes that appeared together across the Outer Edge, through the groughs and out to the Pennine Way!

Two sets could have been ours. we did Cut throat to Snake summit. we passed and then were followed by team farmers wife but they were a group of 4

Where was my invite? Russ lives across the road from me If he thinks he's got a secret line I'll know it.

Did you see our tracks? How long did it take?

Where you starting from Phil? I was up for a long run on Friday but it could possibly be put back for a night run.

he he he - I've been sworn to secrecy!!!

as for weather predictions - it looks like temps are dropping again for the next wee while (we've had some more fresh snow here in Nant Peris - above 600m tho) which will hopefully mean no severe thaw - my only worry was the thaw-out from underneath the hard pack - especially over streams as you'd expect - so theres a risk off falling through - also take care if handrailing the cliffside towards Margery Hill - good lot of neve that's likely to be even icier at night and a nasty drop if you slip.

at any rate, from Swains Head to the Snake there seems enough snow pack there that as long as temps dont drop significantly in the next few weeks there's a good chance the bog won't be a problem on that section at least.
