    Oh no!!! HHH, I am not sure whether to laugh or cry. That sounds kind of like when I forgot to reconnect my brakes and cycled into my garden wall. The inevitability was the hardest part! I hope that you are not hurt? Maybe we should post photos of our colourful bruises.

    Please laugh. I don't think any damage was done to either me, the bike, or the tumble dryer. How far from the wall were you when you realised that you hadn't reconnected the brakes? It sounds funny now, but I hope it didn't hurt.

    Was the inevitability harder than the wall?

    Don't worry. I'm on the mend now. Just thinking how I'm going to fit a recce of the AW in before race day. I think I might take an afternoon off work next month.
